Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Martech Academy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using the platform on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

If you don't agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the platform.

2. Accounts

You need an account to enroll in courses or publish content as an instructor. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or are used to violate these terms.

3. Enrolling in courses

When you enroll in a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access that course's content for as long as it remains available on the platform.

Course content is for your personal learning use. Redistributing, reselling, or publicly posting course materials without written permission from the instructor is not allowed.

4. Publishing courses

Instructors retain ownership of the content they create, but grant Martech Academy a license to host, display, and distribute that content to enrolled students.

Course content must be accurate, original (or properly licensed), and free of material that infringes on someone else's rights. We review new courses before they go live and may remove content that violates these terms at any time.

Instructor payouts are calculated based on net revenue from enrollments, minus platform fees and payment processing costs, and are paid out on the schedule described in the Instructor Agreement.

5. Payments and refunds

Course prices are set by instructors and shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers; we don't store full payment card details.

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase, provided the course hasn't been substantially completed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform to upload unlawful content, harass other users, attempt to access accounts that aren't yours, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.

We may investigate and take action against activity that violates this section, including content removal, account suspension, or termination.

7. Intellectual property

The Martech Academy name, logo, and platform design are owned by us and may not be used without permission. Course content remains the property of the instructor who created it, subject to the license described in Section 4.

8. Limitation of liability

Martech Academy is provided on an "as is" basis. We don't guarantee that course content will meet your specific goals or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Martech Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify account holders by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
